This work speaks to the enduring resilience of the Ga people. Rooted in the spirit of the Homowo festival, it reflects a history shaped by hardship and survival—where famine, disruption, and adversity are met with collective strength. Through celebration, ritual, and remembrance, past struggles are transformed into living culture. The work honors Homowo not only as a festival, but as a continuum of pride, unity, and inherited resilience carried forward through generations.
